We did Cirencester Park, Bowood House and Westernbert arbouritum, 3 days of tree's and soooo many varieties
hi all, found this piece laying on the floor when we were walking back from the beach..no idea what wood, but theres a good chance its olive { theres 4 million olive trees there )
sanded and finished with 8 coats of CA and polished.
Made this yesterday to auction but the boss laid claim to it lol it reminded me of the old hop fields hedged in tall slim poplar trees the bowl is 10” x 3” got to make another one now lol
Today is our 63rd Wedding Anniversary and since our Eldest Daughter from Western Australia and 3rd Daughter from the USA were visiting we went to the Canberra Arboretum.
My wife Wilma the wraps on some of the trees most appropriate at minus 8 degrees Celcius this morning.

Anyone turned a holly, my neighbour has a huge holly tree that is rotten near the base. He is contacting the council about taking it down, we have to go this route as all the trees have Tree Preservation Orders on them.
I was thinking of getting my hands on some.
