Fresh of the lathe today a small Yew 6” vase from beginning to the end

Following on from my Another on the go thread I have now finished it. it stands 9" tall

Nine inch tall Bud vase in Willow.

Small Yew vase 120mm high. It was made from branch wood so quite pale in colour for Yew. Interesting grain in places though.

Spalted Sycamore Vase 12" Deep 6" diam at base and 4" diam at top

As promised this is the first piece out of the workshop for nearly a month. Sapele Vase this was 1 of 12 off cuts and were going to be fire wood stands 6inches high and 3 1/2 inches wide 1/4 inch walls finished to 400 grit s/sealer friction polish and waxed feels like plastic

Had a little play today and finished off this Sycamore vase 7" wide x 6" tall Violet has claimed it more junk to clutter up the place and another potential sale lost I will never a millionaire LOL
