I've been asked to supply a few things for a wedding fayre, so gonna try a few cake slices, bottle openers/stoppers as well as a few sets of pens. What would be an ideal size of blank to use for the utensils? Length will obviously depend on what the tool is but what about thickness. Don't wanna...
For those that make Acrylic Blanks I decided to pour the remainder of the acrylics into a separate pot and when full I would make it into something :thinks:
Turns out my son pinched it and has made a wine bottle stop (photos later) but the remainder I managed to make a slimline pen.

When you use CA it's a bit like mustard, you waste more than you actually use. You try to squeeze gently but it still comes out like the Amazon river, well it does for me anyway.
The tyres were CA's to the rims as they would not hold with the clamping system of the rims.

A some may remember I was given quite a few lumps of Chestnut burrs a while back anyway when I turned a couple of pieces I rough cut the lumps to make it easier to turn and make them a little more balanced for when I turned them.
Not being the type of person to waste wood I cut some into rough...

Does anyone know where I can get a spare clip for a Bullet Pen in the UK. A customer has broken one and wants a replacement. I could get a complete kit but that seems a waste. I have only seem the rifle clip for 7mm slimline pens and that will not fit
