The different styles are designe for different users and different types of dust or vapour you need to filter out.

FFP 1 is low efficiency and only for larger particle size.
FFP 2 is a better option and filters small down to PM2.5
FFP 3 is a better option again and will filter out down to PM 10 and take out some vapours.

That's how I understand it and. I would recommend the FFP2 for wood turning, the FFP1 will do for most woods and activities but the FFP2 is a good general "cover most" filter.

Just seen grandads reply.. The one linked is a "cover all" if that's what you prefer then go for cover all.

I use a similar from the 7000 range and I have filter for wood and filters for Gas/vapour, they are a great mask.

I have been thinking of getting one of these. I wear a ½ face respirator, for chemicals etc but find them hot and uncomfortable to wear.

That really doesn't look like a great mask and isn't designed for vapours, do your lungs a favour and get one of the 3M or similar.

Peter, I wear the mask on the left when I am turning pens,
These dust masks are made for welding fumes, but the local hardware has just put them up to $19.90:vangry::vangry:
I have a Trend Airshield Pro for bowls etc.
The mask on the right is what I use for spraying chemical, casting resin etc. But I find the uncomfortable and hot, after wearing it I can tip the sweat out of it.

Okay, but the link you posted before didn't come up with either of those, that's why I was surprised you use the one linked to.
