Woody,
Nicely done and all that, would expect nothing else from you, but the kit is not my favourite, I bought three, made one, two still in their packet. At best it looks like a medical instrument at worst, a bit that fell off a dalek.

Woody, Always in the back of my mind is everyone should at some time ride a motor bike without the exhaust etc, if you dont you have missed out. People who view this beaut pen of yours will have mixed feelings but I for one know that in the pocket they are great conversation pieces and when in use eye catching applying my experiences with prospective receivers is a great many will be spellbound there is workmanship in the sleeve and the rest of your well finished pen, would like to hear the reflections of the real people we make pens for after all they are the ones that count, those we make pens for are the great majority. At the recent Guild meeting I noticed a ton or so 150 yr old Elm all cut up to dry very interesting.

Considering the short time you have been back into pens they are refreshing always well made and different.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:

Hi Peter many years ago I made a flat top version of the filigree pen which are still on the market and I sold loads of them most people loved them especially when I made them from gem stone but as always some didn't like them mainly pen turners which I didnt mind because it left the field open for me I suppose it was in the same league as today's plastic pens  you know what I mean
