Hi All

So had a go at my first acrylic pen.
One of you out there will recognise the blank many thanks and my wife say's thanks as she is most happy with it.

One another note had what I can only describe as a brain fart :fart: whist cutting the blank and for some unexplained reason I cut form both ends DOH not form the same end. I cannot explain why hence must have been a brain fart. :fart:
So process turned lost of plastic bit and fluff all over the place what joy.
Sanded up through the abranet grades then onto wet with the Micro Mesh love that stuff then quick polish with T Cut.
Any advice on the method most appreciated.

Thanks all for looking.

Regards

Mark

Well you have certainly turned your first Acrylic pen to a very good standard Mark .. Looks good ..

I would forget the sanding and go straight into the micro-mesh when finishing any plastic, then use your selected cream for polishing .. :winking:

Using U Beaut triple EEE polish works wonders in the middle process. The pen looks very efficient, neat and totally useful mate.

The EEE cream mentioned by Peter you can get at the tool post, very very good stuff, not only with acrylics although I don't use it for this. As a sealer and friction polish undercoat it is without comparison although many use it as a final finish alone.

Forgot to mention. Spray the tubes with black oe darker purple car spray, or other suitable paint. It will help hide the tubes and deepen the intensity of the blank colour
