My first two sierras. First one made with too fat, second perhaps too straight.

I do like the colour variation, from the same blank.

Has Brian gone all Shakespeare'ish on us?

A lovely pair of pens there Paul, nothing wrong with either and the colour and grain is superb. Nicely finished too :-)

Two very nice pens Paul  and yes the colour variation is lovely.
The first one is possibly a little on the tubby side, but then so are all the Sierra's I have done so far :goesred:
But it's all down to personal taste :whistling:

One good thing about Sierra's Paul, is that you can easily put them back on the lathe if you are not happy with them .. Some lovely colours in that wood which looks good on those two pens ..

Lovely wood, the pink caused by ferrous material in the wood - always be warned of pink yew, where is the nail? I would prefer the shape to be less bulbous but there are no rules, the pens not for me nor my customer so Ill shut up! Nicely done, apart from the shape that is!!!!!!!!
