Two nice looking pens Paul, the staining sure does help bring out the grain my friend .. Have you tried other colours yet Paul?

I like the stain on the hornbeam as it has changed the complete colour of the wood and brought the grain out..

The Thuya is always a winner, even if it is so "last year" :face:

No not yet Jim, but with the sample pack from Chestnut you get about 10 colours so I will do very soon. I've got a fair amount of Hornbeam so can play to my hearts content :thumbs:
