Hi all, I ll put this in here for some Christmas fun/inspiration.....my friend Mik has been asking people on FB to post pictures of various pens from 2019 and it's made me think....yes hard I know,
But here goes......
Please post a picture and comment of what 'YOU' think is your best pen achievement in 2019.....it may be your first or your latest in any material, but let's try to both interest and inspire others to try different things.

Mine is this....a request for a cigar pen, made with an original cigar band, this was my third attempt...I don't cast so it had a CA finish built up to cover the labelIMG_20190329_162639.jpg
I have done loads of other bits but this is the one that frustrated/pushed me further....

I'm not looking for what we as a collective have selected but what "YOU" feel is "YOUR" best achievement!:ciggrin:

For me, aside from the kitless fountain pens I make,
this is one of my best turned pens.
Probably because the hole was drilled perfectly on center
and the segments looked the same all around the pen:ciggrin:

I guess mine would be the Giant Pinecone Zeta that I turned up, it was a challenge but I was pleased with the result in the end, still can’t write more than a couple of words with it before I need a splint on my wrist. It’s been a real head turner at the couple of craft fayres that I’ve attended, lost count of the number of selfies taken with it:winking:

These are the last two pens I made this year, and probably my best. The red one is a PSI Diva Charm with a ruby red acrylic blank. The green one is a PSI Celtic with a green swirl acrylic blank.
