My first 3 pens. On left is a click pen using zebrano, a twist pen using bog oak and a twist pen using a piece of rose bush which was given to me by my late father

Thanks. I had two goes at the zebrano one as I mucked up the tube and had to use another piece with another tube, hence the mismatch of the grain

Looking at your pics, the first one looks out of line with the nib and the last one has a very bad breakout on the body of the nib.

Very nice start there!
Always keep your 1st....in 6 months time you'll be able to see your progress and in a year even more so....
We all improve and learn more with time!

The last one was from when I was pruning a rose bush given to me by my late Father. I did'nt know if it would even work as was already round but not straight and soft. Its just a keepsake f the rose ever dies
