I found a couple .300 Win mag shells so had to make one of these.

I used 2 X 85w daylight 5500 kelvin globes. only ones I could get these locally

Camera on tripod and used the timer.

Same razor but I used 2 X 85w daylight 5500 kelvin globes, and 1 X 26W daylight 5500 kelvin globes
Next two photos, the camera are both hand held.

Same razor but I used 2 X 85w , and 2 X 26W globes

What else can I do to inprove my photos
I know if I can find it.

You could get rid of the t-shirt and use plain paper.

Mark I am just a beginner at this photography lark. But going by what Terry taught me. Use a tripod and take the photo on a time delay. As a minimum use a white background and if poss make or get yourself a light box/tent.

Thanks for the compliments.
The big tripod went into the bin as it is total crap. thought my camera was going to collapse.
OK white background coming up.

Save crap tripods, they are a good source of Aluminium:thumbs:
