Knocked out a few more for my visit to the Blind veterans centre these pens are not to every ones liking but they will be a great asset to a person with difficulty gripping an ordinary pen
2 in Mahogany and 2 in Black Chacate This is the first time I have turned Black Chacate it is a wonderful wood to turn it gives a good finish of the tool sanded with 400 & 600 grit only and takes a wonderful finish I would recommend this wood for pens it is great I think I got it from Dave (lignaterrae) at the York gathering
Now we are going to invade some of the kids for dinner :wink:

What a waste of some lovely wood init dad?
I never thought there could be a bonus to being blind but I bet they are glad they can't see these.
