4 streamlines from this afternoons session on the lathe.
Birds eye maple and the cork oak pens were both finished using craft coat.
The 2 walnut and padauk pens were finished using diamond coat pen polish.

The upper section of the walnut is more even in colour than the photo shows. There isnt really a line just above the centre band. The joys of using walnut.

Matt the four pens came out well ,displayed well you put a lot of effort in to acheive this result.

We have a field of old now Cork Trees in govt control whenever I tried to turn this timber I found it spongy yet hard how do you find it turning?

All good looking pens Matt, two very nice contrasting woods on the segmented one though .. :thumbs:
