It was made much the same as yours Peter but on a wood lathe anyway what is this compo you keep mentioning

There will be a competition soon, if Jim sanctions it, I will personally put up the top prize, but if you ain't init you can't winit. It will involve a closed end pen, details will follow when people start to post that they have made their mandrel wood, metal or other. It will be open to anyone who is a forum member as long as they make a closed end pen that hasn't been shown on any website, oops sorry Woody:funny:

It's funny you should mention the Omega as that was my first idea to have a comp for a closed end Omega to see the different shapes people come up with.

I like the mandrel, I think that will encourage people to make one, it doesn't look as intimidating in wood and should do the job just as well.:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
