Fresh of the lathe to use up some of my small pieces of wood a Beech box / sweet bowl/ lidded Life bowl with a laminated corian lid it is 5" x 3" total hight with the lid 4 3/4"

I like it Woody. I like the lid too although it does put me in mind of an Urn. I wouldn't mind my ashes in there at all. :thumbs:

Very well turned Woody I like the shape of the bowl and the little lip. But I am sorry that lid just does not sit right for me.

All in all I think for something a bit different the box went down quite well thank you all for your honest opinions I didn't expect every one to like it did I Brian ? LOL I hope to do another one tomorrow with Sycamore and maybe some white corian only time will tell

Lovely Woody, the corian goes well with the beech. What glue do you use to laminate your corian for this? I know I think you use CA for doing pen blanks, just wondering if you use a different glue for larger pieces?

Hi Ray Dan's med super glue just make sure it has dried

Just use lots of ca and clamps sand the glue face and all should be good
