Philistine Brian. I only keep trout and the odd salmon or sea trout. Throw back any wild trout and keep only stockies for the table.

Many thanks for the offer, much appreciated.
You're a bit far away from me though and I'm not sure fishing the big reservoirs suit me, I prefer small lakes and better still rivers where I can fish dry fly.
I have the river Coquet a few minutes away which carries only brown trout and a few escaped rainbows apart from the tidal stretch, very hard fished but gets some good runs of sea trout and salmon as well.
