That is the description Graeme from the supplier and indeed when I first held it it was a deep purple with a hint of red but when I started to cut into it then it got paler and paler and I could see this gold vein in it. TBH I don't like the finished colour but like most blanks you don't know what you are really getting until you start cutting into them !!!

I dont know about you Terry but I was most disappoint with the blanks I got from pencraft but you aint done a bad job of it considering your age :face::face:

It is the first one that I have tried Woody and to be honest I am not impressed. What I can say is it really polishes up which you can't see on the photo. You win some you lose some!!!!

Yes I was Peter and I was thinking of stripping it down and starting again but hey ho somebody might like it !!!!

I have about 5,000 well quite a few of those someone might like it pens trouble is people rarely do I think it has to be time to strip them all down and save putting another order in and save a few quid LOL chances are if you don't like it as the creator no one else will
