I turned the pen body with quite a significant taper, and then ribbed it with light cuts spaced 2mm apart.

For the lid, I turned it to size and threaded, then etched to depth great enough to hold Polyester Resin. The piece was then cast, and turned back down to dimension - with a lot of sanding.

Thanks for looking :)

Thanks for the kind words chaps.

Yes, this one took a little while to make, but it was nice to brush up on a couple of skills again.

THat's pretty special Brad. Did you make the section yourself as well?

Hi Phil
Not on this occasion. I've made some rollerball sections, but I've been looking for a local supplier of Bock nibs before taking that step. 'Hello' :friendly_wink:

Better stop now naming people but Woody sure sets a standard of output and innovation from day one.Macorony Tony made a stunner recently. The standard of work is increasing almost daily on this forum.

My day is shortened with a kip in the afternoon but my creative self is uplifted when I see your work. Thank you for sharing with us mate. Yet another closed end example of creativity before our next competition involving closed ends.

Kind regards Peter.
