Made on request for my friend in Luxembourg (who I have mentioned before).

Bit plain compared to the other pens you lot make, but I haven’t made one for a while, so thought I’d share.

I think the wood is oak, but it might be mahogany, it was an offcut in my pile of blanks. And I think the acrylic probably came from Axminster.

Two very nice pens there.... I think you need a plain er timber if you have a busy kit, whilst the Empress isn't a busy kit.... Its not plain either and suits those blanks very well.... Great choice:drool::drool:

That’s a good point about the plain blank. His first choice was to have it made with tiger wood, but I don’t think that would have looked good at all. Somewhat fortuitously the tiger wood blank broke when I drilled it.

Unaware of anything more you could do for these pens, from what I see though enjoying the use of these timbers and by your meticulous turning.

Very nice pens Rob. I stopped using/turning them, when I found out that the fountain pens only take Axminsters ink cartridges and one cannot convert with an ink converter. Nevertheless, lovely pens mate.
