Andrew's been busy this morning in the garage ~ I think he just wanted some peace and quiet away from the outlaws!! These are off to Australia in the New Year.

We hope Santa has been good to everyone and you don't over eat too much over the next few days.

Kind regards. Fiona

I thought you were a drummer, mate? Not a 'real' musician then?

:devil::devil::devil:

Real musician who can play: trumpet, keyboard, bass guitar, drums & sing.

Learnt the trumpet at school / in BB but packed it in when I was around 20. Took it up again to teach sprog 2 when she was at school - must have done something right as she won her young musician of the year compo. Sprog 1 decided to learn the drums so I taught myself whilst teaching her.
I sing bass in the church choir - yes, I can read music oh, & used to do all the band arrangements for the church band too.
I taught myself the keyboard & bass guitar.
Before I took up woodturning music was my biggest hobby with a house full of instruments - sold my best bass guitar the other year to buy the CL3.
The only drums I have are stored away as they belonged to a professional drummer of 70 years - my grandad.

Fiona, Often the best leave the UK these pens are no exception. If I read the replies you tugged on the heart strings brought up the haleluya chorus, separated the musos some base notes trumpeted with the drums of challenge you threw down for us.

Australia is the better for the UK talent and US blanks that I am sure will raise the spirits of many.

Kind regards Peter.

thanks david, these are from kallenshaan sadly homemade inlays not up to this standard. andrew

Nor are mine, Andrew. Beautifully done nonetheless!

Ken has a laser engraver with a rotary axis - without which those inlays are next to impossible. Not detracting from his skill, just coveting his tools! :whistling:

Yeah, yeah - all you drummers claim to have some REAL talent ... :face:

Joking aside, well done! I used to play guitar as a youngster, but stopped when I married the *wrong* woman. When I married the *right* woman eight years ago, one of the first pressies she gave me was an Ovation Adamas (a lifelong dream). Not so easy to pick it up again, nor was the keyboard when I tried that.

AAMOI do you have the hamster cheeks all the good trumpet players develop? A piccie please! :winking:

David, no haven't played the trumpet for a good few years now so cheeks back to normal, in fact, sold mine last year, sprog 2 still has hers ''just in case''.

that's a nice guitar by the way, my best bass that I sold was a Burns Bison in black, lovely bass.

The amount of money I spent on instruments for the kids when growing up and all because i couldn't play a note on any .. Sadly neither can they ... What a waste of money it was ... Respect Steven ...
