A couple of Omegas

Here's a couple of Omegas I did the other week.

The first is rollerball with Birds Eye Maple This was my entry for the Omega challenge (but a different photo.


The second is a fountain pen dressed in Mesquite. This was also entered into the Omega Challenge, but never got published. By the quality of the entries it wouldn't have won anyway

Nice pens. They look comfortable to use. There appears to be a "frosted" area in the radius of the cap. Is this something the camera created?

I never noticed that in the photos till you mentioned it Terry. It looks like a reflection of the piece of paper the pens were on, which was on a kitchen worktop

Basically, yes. There's nowt wrong with them that needed you to go to the effort you went to and in the process reshaped the pens
