a slim line in walnut and a sierra in spalted beech, the slim line came from Timberbits as part of the lot I bought from Dotslad, I have never used any of their kits before I have always got mine from Axminster, Im wondering if the bushings for the Timberbits kits are slightly bigger than the Axminster ones? as I seem to be a bit short of the centre band?

A lovely, well turned and finished pair of pens Roy

The reason that you're a bit short Roy is because its a streamline not a slimline and the bushing for the centre is larger than that for the slimline. I've sent you a PM

A couple of nice pens there Roy, the slimline range can be confusing with the mixmatch available.
Always a good idea to measure and check first init?
Paul's PM will put you wise, if it don't tell us.:wink::wink:

Cheap pair of digital clippers are worth their weight in gold, I always check bushings against kits just in case, nice work Roy

A very nice couple of pens there Roy, both with a nice finish :thumbs:

I am sure you will find the streamlines good to work with, I find them very adaptable, you can use slimline, slimline fancy parts on them :thinks::thinks:

2 nice pens Roy, check every kit and you won't get a surprise when you put it together:thumbs: I have to say the spalted beech doesn't look like it's spalted.
