It could be Vic, but then againBilly could the unknown wood be Laburnum ?
Vic
I thought it was a bit more local than that, it was in small branches about a foot long and 2 inch diameter (I really should speak in metric on here) It was in Neil's pile in the foyer at York.I would say Sumac.
Very nicely done Billy!I thought it was a bit more local than that, it was in small branches about a foot long and 2 inch diameter (I really should speak in metric on here) It was in Neil's pile in the foyer at York.
Very nicely done Billy!
The wood was very local indeed!
The wood is Laburnum from my back garden.
The tree came down 6 years ago. The main trunk pieces were very dark in the heartwood, but the smaller branches were more of the golden colour you have here.
