Been so long since I done or seen a Vertex I can't remember what they sposed to look like.
Have you used the correct bushes?
They look a little overcut other than that fine pens init?

Doesn't mean they the right ones, did you measure them?

It may well be all right and proper just look a tad thin on blanks to me.

Brian, I think there is a bead on the finding which makes the wood look undercut. The wood is level with the flat surface behind the bead - spot on! Nicely turned Johnny, but I really can't brung myself to like the kit ...

Superb woods, both of them:thumbs: I haven't seen that kits in the flesh and have not been tempted enough to buy one, maybe I should at least I will know whether to buy more or not, I think that bead closest to the wood is wrong as it does make it look undercut. Okay I have convinced myself to get one and try it:thumbs:

I've never seen this kit before and probably wouldn't have bothered had I not seen one made up but you've made that one very nice so that now I've got to have a go.

They are a lovely kit with good quality parts and the click is the smoothest, nicest, most reliablist ever.
Not everyone's cup of tea but I like em, I like em more with the beads I think.

Sorry I questioned it Johnny but you can see why I did when I was thinking back to mine.

Are they dad?
Obviously they are different kits but I thought the shape was the same with all the old ones.
I did make many of them but cannot find any pics other than the one I showed.
