a couple of Zetas

Having tried to do segmented pens and ending up with a bucketful of scrap I done a couple of Zetas
to de-stress myself. Had a wee bitty bother with the white one. I painted the brass white but when glueing
up the paint came away. Should I have drilled a bigger hole ?

Very nice Peter. I have never drilled any bigger when using painted tubes but like you have had issues with the paint not coming off but reacting with the glue. Let's hope someone lets us know what to do to overcome this issue

Hi Terry the paint was radiator spray enamel and the glue a two part epoxy. Paint was sitting in front of a radiator for about four hours and seemed to be set.
