Did you paint the tubes on the second one, I have the same blank but haven't used it yet as I was unsure if the brass would show through?

I spray painted them all except the top one Doug, the light colours were painted white and black for the dark colours ..

The one you have Doug, was from one of the earlier batches -i believe, where he colour wasn't deep enough, so a dark paint would be recommended my friend ..

Seriously these are fantastic a great job on the casting and also on the turning:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

My god man!!! Don't you ever sleep? You are the busiest pen turner I know. I'm exhausted just thinking about all that you do. Your pens btw are beautiful.
