Got a batch of Churchill pens turned over the last couple of days. I've never tried this kit before but I really like it. There are several here acrylic, buckeye burr, malee burr and a couple of George Watkins hybrid blanks. Not easy pens to make, the blanks are very thin at the ends so there isn't much space for error.

Cheers
Craig

Some lovely turning done there Craig but I really don't like that kit. I've made a few and if the cap is knocked the threaded insert breaks and its not hard to do. I won't make any more but you've done a great job with them.

Thanks for the comments guys. I fancied the El Grande and El Toro as well but when you add the cost up it becomes very expensive to buy several, so I elected to try one kit at a time!

I have never made one of these pens Craig, but these look good with the blank choices you have on them .. :winking:

Beautifully turned and finished and some very nice blanks but for me too much what appears to be plastic
