I had a few hour in the workshop this afternoon there was another 3 Spalted apple pens but they all fell to pieces needed a bit more CA on them never mind another day to do them tomorrow God willing.

Today's successful efforts include 3 pens Cedar, White Wenge and one ?, 3 silent dog whistles key rings in spalted Apple and 3 light pulls 2 tiger oak 1 elm all with a polish finish enjoy DSCF1699 (2).JPG

I want to get these pens and odd bits out of the way and make some vases got about another 10 to do

Brian gave them to me when I got the all clear to turn again but they probably come from Helen on ebay

I can't remember where the light pulls came from but I do remember thinking what a waste of time and ejecting them to the crap drawer and making a load of just pulls with no chain which in my opinion were better init?

I'm glad you said that, I was thinking small hole drilled through, job done ! Maybe recess the base a little to hide the knot in the cord.

When I make them normally I drill a 5mm hole in the bottom to accommodate the knot and a 3mm hole right the way through the rest of the wood
