In my early life I did batch turning as part of my job, anywhere from100 upwards so to me these are just a few.
The only pleasure you got was when the pile you’d done was bigger than the pile you still had to do.

Recently I had to ( volunteered ) make pens from my late aunt's mahogany chest of drawers which no-one wanted, for 15 relatives as keepsakes.
After 5 or 6 I was getting cheesed off.
That would just be a stroll in the park for you.
