Top one is Lemonwood with a blue felt tip band,
Second is Black American Walnut
Third is Ash, metal from sanding embedded in grain but I think looks quite effective.
Fourth is Pink Ivory
Last is Purpleheart.
All finished with blo and ca with ppp wax. still waiting for friction polish to turn up from Turners Retreat, they are out of stock at present but on my visit to Mr Loseby's yesterday, he has given me some
Made an acrylic pen yesterday and a corian one and solo turned a corian this evening. Will post pics of them too.
regards,
Chris
