I don't turn slimline pens very often as I don't feel they show of enough of the wood grain and pattern but this is just my opinion not that there's anything wrong with them its just my preference however I do use them in my wood collection for the more bland woods but that's just me wood type from left to right are Ash, Sandlewood,Sweet chestnut, Elm, Ooba, Laburnum, Oak, White Hickory, Butternut

A fine collection of Slimlines I am not so sure that the pen lends itself to favourably to the shaping you have chosen but that is only my preference.
A nice set all the same and I like your reasoning of collecting woods in this manner.

Thats fine George as I always say each to our own but it is the shape that sells best for me correction sold best for me especially for disabled people

A nice collection Woody, it is good we all have our own preferences, it would look odd seeing all the same pens from us all ... :thumbs:

Personally I like that shape, it makes the pen more comfortable to write with if you have large clumsy mitts (or so I hear:whistling:). Lovely Woody!

HaHa I use a clumsy scribe, not showing that though you will laugh at me.:nonono::nonono:
