A first pencil

This is my Mum. She just finished her first pencil!

What started as a nice but if purpleheart turned into a tricky bit with a nasty grain change in the middle, but she did really well!

She has only turned a few times before, just when she is down visiting us. Quite proud of her!

Good job! I've got my dad interested in turning. He made a pen last time he came up. Time with parents is precious. This is probably the best picture I've seen on here all year
