A good friend & his wife Janet called yesterday to give me 16 pen blanks & 16 penkits to make up for Blind Veterans. That friend is Andrew Hall & the blanks he gave me are 12th century oak from Durham Cathedral. He was given the oak by the Dean of Durham who took woodturning lessons from Andrew. So hopefully these specials will raise a tidy sum for the charity. Thank you Andrew.

That was very kind of them, each of the pens will have ancient history attached to them. Did the blanks come with any certificates Bill?
