The Threaded pens aren't quite as bit a hit as I thought they'd be and I've only made a few myself, usually during demos as I don't have to press anything in.  I don't know why I don't use them because in theory they're excellent. They have a thicker tube wall, can be taken apart and the colour of the fittings changed if required and are generally better than the standard slimline... Maybe its because they need the thinner 5mm mandrel and I can't be bothered to change it.
