A little Pot

On another forum I have just posted this pot in a friendly comp made from Sapele, Ash and Beech stand about 8 1/4" tall and 3 1/4" across at the widest point.
I started this on the 23rd and ended up throwing it out only to restart on the 24th.

I like the style and shape of the pot, has a 1960's appeal about it.
Finial is too long for my taste but each to their own init?
Good job you restarted or we wouldn't have seen it.
Lovely finish.

Glad you all like this. The first one was a nice piece of wood as can be seen in the photo below. Left it on the lathe overnight and found it all split in the morning(did not realise it was still wet and not fully dry)
