Today I will post a pen that has some scallop work in it. There are many different ways of doing scallops and I bet alot of people here have done these. But here is one of mine. It is on a Sierra Vista kit. The blank is maple with red and black veneer accents. It was finished with 6 coats of med CA and polished. Thanks for looking and as always any comments or questions are always welcomed.

John a lot of work and great result with your variety in pens prefer another colour to match with the circles. I agree with others who say you are a trend setter in designing your pens, keep them coming.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:

I've done a bit of scalloping, John (see this thread) but with neither the ambition nor the precision of this pen! Awesome!

Now that is a very nice pen and nice segmenting work. You have other things going on besides the scallops. I like it alot. Mike over at IAP is very inspirational also. He and I tried to get that segmenting forum going strong. I still believe there is so much more that can be done and only the tip of the iceburg has been touched. I feel new and creative designs will come. Also some of the designs being shown now will evolve bigger too. Thanks for the link and keep them coming. I love it and can't get enough.
