If you can drill your blank so that it is a good fit and not sloppy then medium or thick CA will be more than adequate, you could use epoxy like others if you are paranoid or have OCD. People say CA will not adhere well to metal as it isn't porous, but it adheres so well that I would love to see them break the bond once it is set. Try them all and choose what you prefer, CA is far quicker and less messy than anything else and those who tell you otherwise are just plain wrong.
