As some of you know I (Try :whistling: ) and make all sorts of things and not afraid to have a go at most things.
Made the benches and they all sold and everyone said they were very happy with them :shocking:

I have been asked to make a Picnic Table (x2) for a good friend, they are supplying the wood, (Same place I got the wood for the benches) so they are going to be heavy and very strong.
As this is my 1st attempt at making a Picnic Table anything I should look out for, anyone built one and has any tips, I would be very greatful.
I have some plans and hopefully the end result "Should" look similar to this.......

So carrying on from the Picnic Tables, I still have 3 more to make (just got to go and collect the wood) + the Cricket club have asked for x10 more for next year, so no rush on those :phew:
I spent 4 days building a covered canopy over a patio....

The Main support posts are from a Barn local to me that was being dismantled, cost me a few beers and the farmer (Thanks Paul) even dropped them off, all planed, sanded off and recoated, they look awesome.
The roof is old floor boards and the supports and timber from the roof Truss sections, about the only NEW things in the whole build are the screws, roofing felt and lights
Totally dry underneath (depending on the way the wind is blowing the rain) and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, learnt some new woodworking tricks and realised I had a made a few mistakes (That I won't make again) but over all a thoroughly enjoyable job.
