Hi, Guys,

Excuse the usual crappy pics - this one was a real sod because of the reflections, etc.!
Just finished an Omega in Timberbits blank, PB010, and it's gleaming like glass. Usual grits to 600 and several polishes with Brasso. This time I've not applied the Huts Crystal polish as I suspect it's not needed(?)

And, before you all leap to the keyboard and point out that I haven't driven that lower cap end in. I have now, LOL!

Looks good Bob. As a matter of interest I never use polishes on acrylics !!!

Thanks, Terry. It was as I was applying polish to my previous pen that it came to me - why am I doing this? I'd always thought it would be an added protection to a pen but now I'm not so sure. I wonder what the other guys think?

Now there's a pause for thought, Terry. On the rare instance when I use CA (it affects my sinuses too much!) I do apply friction polish. Now I'm asking myself why! Jeez, I'm sorry I got up this morning!

Nice pen! I tend to use T Cut as a final step on corian and acrylic. I also have some acrylic window polish which I bought when we had a touring caravan to remove some scuff marks.

Bob you sure opened Pandoras box with finishing which I find is so particular for different materials. Like your pen and your method used gave a great result.
