My first piece of proper turning for a while I spent just under an hour in there and it was cool enough to go into the shed this morning so decided to turn one of my London Plane blanks that I have the finished bowl is 8 3/4" X 1 3/4"

Might be plane but it certainly isn't plain. Lovely figure and nicely turned.

I used sander sealer and a buffing system.

London plane is one of my favourite timbers Derek. A beautiful bowl mate.

The grain in Spain falls mainly on the plane, in this case its ripped mate, I am so impressed with this bowl.

Very nice looking bowl Derek.
You cant leave the important details out.....fess up.
In the afternoon it gets too hot to work in there as it is only a small shed and low roof so the heat does not get out that quick
