Here are 4 Zeta pens turned today using Dymondwood.
2 gun metal and 2 Rhodium

Friction polish and Renaissance wax finish
I prefer the top one

Personally prefer tiger wood over dymondwood as I find the colours more vibrant. Did you seal these with sanding sealer before the polish and if so did you use the liquid? The sealer in spray form will not darken the wood nearly as much and will retain the vibrancy better.

I didn't use sanding sealer before the polish :thinks:
Did not realise that you had to

Beaut pens one and all four of them, they are mongrels to drill and turn but the reward is great mycarry pen for ever it seems would yield heaps of orders but I dont fancy being locked in to making them continually.
Few people believe they are composites of the same timber dyed and in layers.

The first one leaps out new to me.
