A side track box

Went out in my workshop to start making shattertools but an idea I had in my head got the better of me so I got sidetracked and had a little play and ended up making this sappely box with an African blackwood finial box 75mm x 50mm finial 75mm from 10mm down to 1mm thick I have done a bit of decoration top and bottom with my home made chattertool

That is bloody lovely Woody, would take me ages to do anything like that :thumbs: love the chatter work on the top, do you still find it easy to finish with the texture applied?

Yes I use sanding sealer then rub in paste wax let it dry and buff with a shoe brush
