A new little sign for the quiet contemplation corner of the garden :book::tranquillity:

I made a similar one last year, but from very cheap scrap ply and although it was varnished, it hasn't survived the winter well. So this one is on a slice of yew - much more rot resistant.....and its got more layers of yacht varnish to properly seal it.

It should last - it's got enough yacht varnish on it. The other one was really cheap ply not exterior grade stuff and although I thought I had varnished and sealed the edges well......it still got soaked and started delaminating as well as getting mould spots under the varnish. I didn't really expect it to last.....but hopefully this one will.
