Today saw me repairing door hinges on my wood store and taking the wife shopping, well you have to keep the wife happy and the food cupboard stocked. I hate working in the workshop on an empty stomach.

After doing all of that I managed some more work on this piece this picture will give more of an idea of how it will look. And there are still two more panels to pierce.
Each panel has to be pierced then filed with needle files to clean up any bits. I keep stopping to give my hand a rest and have a coffee

Derek, do you cut all these out with a coping/fret saw?
It's looking a lot better now the mice have left it alone.
Alan

I used an Axminster hanging type multi-tool where the motor is on a hook and a Flexi shaft and each one cleaned out with a burr.

I will be painting this over the weekend while i am completing another turning that I have on the go
