Yew Euro 2..JPG

Hi, Guys,

Thought I'd play about with a stick of nondescript yew earlier and came up with this alternative Euro. I discarded the original nib and replaced it with one from a Slimline (I wanted a more tapered bottom to the pen but don't believe it made any difference after all). Since the photo I have run a piece of thread through those three lines above the nib and cleared out the polish residue - this was invisible when holding the pen! Grits to 1800, a wipe with white spirit to clean out & pop the grain, and three coats of friction polish. Gleams like a piece of furniture now!

Woody, you syphilictic cretin! Never mind about it not rocking your boat - once I get my submarine fired up I'm gonna sink the bloody thing! Don't rock your boat, indeed, you misbegotten turd!:ave_it::devil::fart::mooney2: LOL, Woody, I know what you mean, mate. I thought I'd have a break from standard style pens and try a bit of artistic license for a change - which is wasted on you!

Thanks, Mr. Taylor - it's nice to have one friend on this channel! LOL!

Nothing wrong with trying something new Bob, if you happen to sell it then it was well worth the effort of trying something new ... :bwink:

Turd ... Ring ... ????

C'mon, it can't just be me ... ?

Ah well ... Dirty mind, I guess.

I can just hear Dara O'Braian announcing: "Here's good king Woody the 3rd with his ring of fire!"
