Hi, Guys,


Thought I'd play about with a stick of nondescript yew earlier and came up with this alternative Euro. I discarded the original nib and replaced it with one from a Slimline (I wanted a more tapered bottom to the pen but don't believe it made any difference after all). Since the photo I have run a piece of thread through those three lines above the nib and cleared out the polish residue - this was invisible when holding the pen! Grits to 1800, a wipe with white spirit to clean out & pop the grain, and three coats of friction polish. Gleams like a piece of furniture now!
