I can't tell you what the wood is but I can tell you that you've made 3 lovely pens out of it and its a good job you saved it. :thumbs:

Looks like it could be beech or ash on the first one
And if they are all cut from the same log then
Thats my guess might be wrong though nevertheless

Beech was my first thought when I acquired it, but it has stayed quite light after the finishing, so I'm edging more towards ash
