I think you will find that timberbits are just another source of blanks that are available in the UK. Doesn't just mean they are buying from David (timberbits) and selling them on for a profit.

Tried putting a link up but keeps crashing, search for "acrylic" and you will find a thread for an acrylic comparison. Worth a look if nothing else.

However you can get blanks from forum members, some sell their "homemade" blanks.

Alternatively cast your own.. :winking:

I'm not sure if Merv is still selling blanks, UK penkits..was a good source at one time or another.

Thank you. I really fancy having a go at casting but i cant really afford the setup costs. Its was the codes on the blanks that i recognised from timberbits. I find them the best value but it is not always about price.

Even though I have not brought any Blanks off of Dave I have been fortunate to have seen his stocks and he has a great selection. I have ordered the little stylus kits and he was very prompt in getting them out and delivered OK I could have gone down and collected them which means I would have had them a day earlier. So good service as well is a must for me.
