I was asked to do an acrylic pen with a medical clip. the acrylic is a green ribbon :thinks::thinks:

I'm afraid the photo doesn't do the glistening effect of the different greens, golds & yellows justice, which is a shame because the person its going to is a paramedic and to the natural eye in sunshine it matches his uniform and ambulance really well.:banana:

Also first pen I've done for about 6 weeks :phew::phew:

It's a great looking pen, but you should sharpen the nib end in case he ever needs to do an Emergent Tracheostomy:thumbs:

I've never put an acrylic on a streamline, quite simply I can make 50 of them day in wood (boring though) but can't get anywhere near that volume with acrylic.

It's a lovely pen and I am tempted to do a couple in acrylic.

They do take much more time than wood Neil, but sometimes (not always) that extra effort is worth it :thinks::thinks:

I do more in acrylic than wood neil. Virtually all the slimlines I sell to women are in acrylic with the most popular coulours being purple and pink.

That's a beautifully made pen Billy. I've looked at those clips but shied off as they looked a bit clumsy, will have to reconsider I think.

It doesn't seem like a pen I could sell to a bloke but I love the blank - where did you get it? My missus could sell those at work.

Thanks Bob, the blank came from Turners Retreat Acrylic Pen Blank Green Ribbon

They also do a similar purple one which looks stunning
