Act of Kindness

Hi All

I want to repay an act of kindness, small beer really, the garage that I go to is owned by a good old boy, he knows I'm a nurse and knows that I need my car for work, the fuel pump went at the same time that the wiper pump went, he told me that it'll take a few days to get the pump. As he was walking towards me he put his hand in his pocket, fished out a set of keys and said 'here take this, it's the works van, bring it back when yours is ready'
As I said a simple act of kindness.
I know he is a devout Christian so I'd like to order a nice pen and pencil set and some Bethlehem Olive. I can source the olive from Flea Bay but What would you suggest as a nice matched pair of pen/pencil bodies.

Hi ray

I will be using the Bethlehem Olive to accent his belief, I wanted a nicer presentation kit than the slim line, thanks for he suggestion.

Apart from the Sierra there was one that Neil mentioned a while ago, the Atrax or something like that (Tell us Neil) and one that Walter said about that replaces the standard parker type refill which sounds good to me, except you have to get it from the States.

The only pencil kit I like is the workshop/sketch pencil if you can find something to match either fountain or rollerball it could be a nice combo.

Hi All

I finally went with the Sierra pen/pencil kits, after what Neil and others said about the Bethlehem Olive being not what it's meant to be I went for what I think is Red Oak, photo id poor but I'm getting better at that.
Also did a Sierra for me for work, has a couple of small holes in it, should have pressure potted it but it was just one pen, it's a mix of red and electric blue resin pours with a gold/red two tone see through metallic confetti and I'm very happy with that. I'll do that again some time soon.
Comments and critiques as always very welcome.

Hi Fellas

Thanks, the wooden pens were sanded to 800 grit, 2 coats of sanding sealer, sanded to 12000 grit, 3 coats of BLO, denibbed with 12000 again and then 8 coats of CA. In my hand they look wonderful, must practice this photography lark.
